Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 29/10/2025
1. Our Commitment
At The Youth Physiotherapy Clinic, we are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone — including people with disabilities, neurodivergent users, and those using assistive technologies.
We aim to make our website easy to use and understand for all visitors, regardless of ability, technology, or environment.
2. What We’re Doing
We are working to make our website conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA standards.
These guidelines outline how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments.
Steps we are taking include:
Ensuring good colour contrast and readable fonts.
Providing alternative text for all images.
Making sure all interactive elements are keyboard-accessible.
Structuring content clearly using headings and plain language.
Testing pages with accessibility tools and real users where possible.
3. Current Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, we know that some parts of our website may not yet be completely accessible — for example:
Some older PDFs or downloadable documents may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
Embedded videos may lack captions or audio descriptions.
Some third-party content (like maps or booking widgets) may not fully meet accessibility standards.
We are actively working to fix these issues as part of our ongoing accessibility plan.
4. Feedback and Contact Information
We welcome feedback on how to improve accessibility for our website and services.
If you experience any difficulties or need information in a different format (for example, large print, easy read, or audio), please get in touch:
Email: dan@youthphysioclinic.co.uk
We’ll do our best to respond within 5 working days.
